Ashleigh joined the Population Health Sciences Institute in 2018 as part of the Health Economics Group. She is currently working on a number of economic evaluations alongside clinical trials. Her research interests include economic evaluation, systematic review and preference elicitation, particularly in the context of eye care.

Prior to this Ashleigh was working at Glasgow Caledonian University on her PhD thesis; an economic evaluation of community management of eye disease. Ashleigh is a qualified optometrist and has experience in clinical practice and clinical teaching on an undergraduate optometry program.
